Donald Trump’s Truth Social to Launch Utility Token for Patriot Package
Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform is gearing up to enhance its ecosystem with a utility token tailored for Patriot Package subscribers, aiming to elevate user engagement through a new rewards system.
Loyalty Rewards Program with Utility Token
On July 10, 2025, Truth Social announced a forthcoming utility token as part of its loyalty rewards program, exclusive to Patriot Package subscribers. Users will earn “gems” based on their platform activity, which will soon connect to a utility token usable on both Truth Social and its streaming service, Truth+. The platform stated, “Patriot Package subscribers will accumulate gems through engagement, which will be linked to a utility token across Truth Social and Truth+.”
Truth Social’s Crypto Expansion
This move aligns with Trump Media & Technology Group’s (TMTG) growing crypto ambitions. TMTG recently filed for a “Truth Social Crypto Blue Chip ETF” to track major digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Cronos. Additionally, Donald Trump Jr.’s $4 million investment in 350,000 Thumzup Media shares bolsters TMTG’s crypto portfolio, with holdings in Ethereum, Ripple, Solana, Dogecoin, and Litecoin.
In April 2024, TMTG hinted at a utility token to power its ecosystem, potentially supporting Truth+ subscriptions and other services via a Truth digital wallet. Rumors of a Truth Social meme coin surfaced in May but were swiftly dismissed by the company.
